Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-03. These terms are the end user licence agreement between Lekawski, S.L.U. (NIF B27640481), Paseo de Reding 43, 1º Izq, 29016 Málaga, Spain ("we") and the organisation that installs Afterbrief, an app for Jira and Confluence ("you"). They also cover the optional Afterbrief Relay. Your use of the Atlassian Marketplace, including purchase, billing, trials and refunds, which Atlassian handles, is governed by Atlassian's own terms, which apply alongside these.
Afterbrief is offered to businesses and organisations for professional use; by installing it you confirm you are acting for one.
Licence
While you have a valid subscription through the Atlassian Marketplace, or are on its free tier or a trial, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on the Atlassian site it is installed on, for your internal purposes. You may not resell it, copy it outside the Atlassian platform, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
Your data
Your data is yours. The app stores it in your Atlassian site, and our privacy policy describes the little we receive. You are responsible for what you put into the app and for having the right to do so, including messages from chat tools you connect.
Draft with AI
AI drafts are generated automatically from your incident's record and may be incomplete or wrong. They are a starting point for your team to review; you are responsible for what you save and publish. Plan limits on the number of drafts are described in the documentation.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app or the relay to break the law, to attack or overload them or anyone else, to get around plan limits, or to access data you are not entitled to.
Availability and support
The app runs on Atlassian's platform, so its availability depends on Atlassian's. We support it by email as described on the support page, without a guaranteed response time. We may change and improve the app; we will give notice before removing a core feature where we reasonably can.
Warranty
The app and the relay are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Data processing for the relay
When you connect Slack through the relay, we process personal data contained in Slack messages and installations on your behalf (Article 28 GDPR). For that processing:
- Subject matter and duration. Delivering messages from linked Slack channels and threads to your Atlassian site, for as long as you keep the relay connected.
- Data and people. Slack messages, author names and ids, and the workspace installation, concerning your Slack workspace's members.
- Instructions. We process the data only to provide the relay as documented, which you instruct by connecting it, and not for any other purpose.
- Confidentiality and security. Only people bound to confidentiality can access the relay. Messages are kept in memory only while being delivered; tokens and secrets are encrypted at rest; logs carry no message text.
- Sub-processors. Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the relay in the European Union. We will tell you before adding or replacing a sub-processor, and you may object by disconnecting.
- Assistance. We help you answer data subjects' requests and meet your security and breach-notification obligations, and tell you without undue delay of a personal data breach affecting your data.
- End. When you disconnect or ask, we delete your relay records; backups expire within 14 days.
- Audit. We make available the information needed to show we meet these terms, and, on request, the relay's source code for you to inspect.
Ending
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you materially break these terms and do not remedy it after notice. The sections on your data, warranty, liability and data processing survive.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Málaga, Spain, unless mandatory law gives another court jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change, and material changes take effect 30 days after we publish them.
